Astra completed intersection improvements on Northside Drive/State Route 3 at Collier Road/City Street 53. This $26 million project includes two (2) miles of road realignment, installation of intersection video detection systems, and concrete retaining walls. Astra installed 12,880 LF of 36” DIP water main, storm drainage, intersection improvements, right-of-way improvements, including sidewalk, multi-use trail, boardwalk, ADA access, and landscaping along Northside Drive. 

Our scope included complex urban demolition, grading, storm drainage, traffic control, and all site utilities within constrained work environments on an active roadway. The owner is satisfied and recommended the project for a national award.
