Related Project - Milwaukee,

WI was selected as the host city for the 2020 Democratic National Convention in March of 2019 after a year-long process.

In preparation for that big event, one of our key Clients determined that a large number of small cell nodes needed to be deployed in the area around the convention center and downtown Milwaukee attractions.

Equix Broadband deployed a number of our New Berlin, WI based teams of wireless technicians to complete construction of these sites on behalf of our Client.

While the eventual total site count was significantly reduced due to COVID-19 safety measures and the DNC’s move to a more virtual event, we were happy to be part of the team to permanently improve coverage in downtown Milwaukee.
