Jerrod Henschel 1

Jerrod Henschel

President & CEO, Equix

Jerrod is responsible for Equix Inc.’s strategic development and growth. He started his career as a line worker and proved to be a quick study who rose through the ranks. During his 30 years in the construction industry, Jerrod has held senior leadership positions managing day-to-day operations, including an annual portfolio of over one billion and individual projects greater than 250 million. Jerrod is knowledgeable in communications, URD, renewables, heavy civil, and water and sewer. Jerrod advocates for open communication across all levels of operations and led crews around the world. He actively contributes to the Power & Communication Contractors Association, serving on the board of directors and several committees.

Todd Meyer

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Equix

Todd directs all financial, legal, human resources and risk management related matters for the company. Todd has more than 20 years of senior management experience leading legal, human resources, risk management, and real estate departments for organizations in the construction, chemical, and retail industries ranging in size from $150 million privately-held businesses to $4.8 billion publicly-traded organizations. Todd is also a CPA and worked in public accounting prior to becoming an attorney.

Troy Schill

Vice President of Finance, Equix

Troy leads all aspects of our Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology organization, with a focus on integrity and talent development. Before joining Equix, Troy accumulated over 25 years of leadership experience, advancing to hold senior roles in finance and commercial operations within the food manufacturing sector. Troy managed large portfolios as a director of business finance and director of network optimization. Troy is an active volunteer and serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Marian University.

Mike Debelak

President, Equix Integrity & Equix Infrastructure

Michael joined Equix in 2018 as President of Diversified Infrastructure Services (DIS). He is responsible for leading, managing and expanding civil, geotechnical and renewables services throughout the United States. Michael has more than 25 years of operations experience in heavy civil, renewable and road building. His diverse construction experience includes management of projects with budgets of more than $275 million as well as partnerships and joint ventures.
Michael has served on road building and transportation boards and committees and is a leading advocate for shaping the economic environment surrounding infrastructure construction. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Nicholas Atkin

Vice President Construction Services, Equix Energy

Nicholas is responsible for the strategic operations of energy and utility construction services. He has more than 19 years of construction experience. Including managing operations of projects throughout the United States for natural gas distribution, utility & maxi-rig horizontal directional drilling, electric and telecommunications construction. He leverages his diverse construction experience in the field to provide insights on safety, constructability and value engineering. Nicholas holds a B.A. in Business from Saint Norbert College.

Tom Clapper

Vice President, Equix Energy

Tom joined the Equix team in 2018 bringing a new business portfolio to the Equix brand. With over 25 years of experience in the North American pipeline and rock excavation market, he began his construction career at trenching manufacturer Trencor, Inc. He then moved to VP with a trenching contractor and continued to expand his knowledge base in rock trenching nationwide. Tom oversees Equix Energy operations for pipeline, collections, and utility trenching projects. He uses his experiences to offer alternatives for efficient, safety based construction processes. Tom is a member of the American Pipeline Contractors Association, the Pipeliners Association of Houston, past member and board member of the Distribution Contractor Association. Tom is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Tim LeVrier

Vice President of Business Development & Marketing, Equix

Tim is responsible for identifying growth opportunities and building key customer relationships to expand revenue and profitability. He also oversees Equix’s marketing strategy. Tim brings more than 13 years of business development, sales, and marketing experience in the energy industry. He works with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 businesses providing valued service through mutually beneficial partnerships. An active member in the Pipeliners Association of Houston, Tim will begin serving as an officer in 2020. He has a B.S. in Human Resource Development & Business from Texas A&M University.



As President of the Astra companies – Astra Group, LLC, Astra Grading & Pipe, LLC, and Astra Construction Services, LLC – Andrew has direct control over annual revenues in excess of $100 million. He has more than 25 years of construction experience including that of parks, athletics and recreational facilities, municipal buildings, transportation/aviation, heavy civil/utility infrastructure as well as green infrastructure development. Under Andrew’s direction, Astra became a leader in the industry and the company continues to expand its client base to include a large array of public and private organizations.

Andrew has a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed utility contractor in Georgia and a licensed general contractor in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.



Jon Gruber leads the Health, Safety, & Environmental Division for all Equix Companies. He is responsible for the creation and administration of HSE programs, training, accident investigations, and regulatory compliance with OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, DOT, EPS, and others.

Jon has been working within the Equix Family of Companies since 1998 where he started as an OSP Engineer/Project Manager and worked his way up to his current position as VP of HSE.

Tim Wagner

Vice President & Chief Information Office, Equix

Tim is responsible for Equix Inc.’s Information Technology department. Before joining Equix, Inc. Tim was with Mi-Tech for over 13 years where he was responsible for the Energy Services division and later as the Vice President of Mi-Tech where he continued to concentrate on growth, operational efficiency, contract management and customer development primary with the power industry. Tim was responsible for introducing technology into many different internal processes as well as operational processes at Mi-Tech including power distribution design, communications design, field asset data collection, mapping and GIS.

Angela Hedrich, Equix

Director of Human Resources, Equix

Angela is a professional with over 10 years of human resources management experience, working during that time in both the construction and manufacturing industries. She leads the Company’s initiatives relating to recruitment, compensation, engagement, employee benefits and payroll. Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Angela is an active member of SHRM and holds both the SHRM-CP and PHR certifications.



Regina Pitts is a highly creative, results-driven marketing and proposal manager with a background in architecture, construction and engineering, and fintech. She joined Astra Group in 2017 as the Marketing & Proposal Manager after having served in similar roles at other organizations in the engineering and construction industries. Throughout her career, she has put together proposals collectively worth more than $1 billion. Since joining Astra, she has championed their marketing strategy of being project- and people-centric and using the company’s reputation to leverage and further develop the brand. Regina received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Mississippi and holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy University.
