Todd directs all financial, legal, human resources and risk management related matters for the company. Todd has more than 20 years of senior management experience leading legal, human resources, risk management, and real estate departments for organizations in the construction, chemical, and retail industries ranging in size from $150 million privately-held businesses to $4.8 billion publicly-traded organizations. Todd is also a CPA and worked in public accounting prior to becoming an attorney.
Michael joined Equix in 2018 as President of Diversified Infrastructure Services (DIS). He is responsible for leading, managing and expanding civil, geotechnical and renewables services throughout the United States. Michael has more than 25 years of operations experience in heavy civil, renewable and road building. His diverse construction experience includes management of projects with budgets of more than $275 million as well as partnerships and joint ventures.
Michael has served on road building and transportation boards and committees and is a leading advocate for shaping the economic environment surrounding infrastructure construction. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Nicholas is responsible for the strategic operations of energy and utility construction services. He has more than 19 years of construction experience. Including managing operations of projects throughout the United States for natural gas distribution, utility & maxi-rig horizontal directional drilling, electric and telecommunications construction. He leverages his diverse construction experience in the field to provide insights on safety, constructability and value engineering. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Saint Norbert College.
Tom joined the Equix team in 2018 bringing a new business portfolio to the Equix brand. With over 25 years of experience in the North American pipeline and rock excavation market, he began his construction career at trenching manufacturer Trencor, Inc. He then moved to VP with a trenching contractor and continued to expand his knowledge base in rock trenching nationwide. Tom oversees Equix Energy operations for pipeline, collections, and utility trenching projects. He uses his experiences to offer alternatives for efficient, safety based construction processes. Tom is a member of the American Pipeline Contractors Association, the Pipeliners Association of Houston, past member and board member of the Distribution Contractor Association. Tom is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
Antonio joined the Equix team in 2021 and leads the wireless team as part of Equix Broadband, Inc. Antonio brings over 25 years of progressive wireless technical and leadership experience, holding key roles in RF Engineering and Small Cell Operations throughout his career. More specifically, he has held key RF Engineering rolls at AT&T, including leading the North Central RF Engineering team as part of the AT&T Antenna Solution Group.
Most recently, Antonio held key RF and Operations leadership positions with Crown Castle in the Central, Southeast and West regions as the Director of RF Engineering as well as the Director of Small Cell Operations. Antonio is a 1996 graduate of Cleveland State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree.
Tim Erickson, Vice President of Mi-Tech, has over 35 years of experience in the utility and telecommunications space, having been involved in engineering and managing the strategic deployment of telecom broadband, voice, data, and video entertainment services. His vast experience also includes working as a GIS Project Leader and a Distribution Design Engineer in the power industry. He has been a driving force within Mi-Tech during his eight-year tenure in creating efficiencies for work execution by pushing for advancements in technology utilizing GIS. In addition, Tim demonstrates fundamental leadership abilities, with a keen focus on employee development and mentoring to ensure the great culture of Mi-Tech continues and positions the company for the continued growth of employees and business. Tim earned a degree in Cable Television Technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Augsburg University.
As President of the Astra companies – Astra Group, LLC, Astra Grading & Pipe, LLC, and Astra Construction Services, LLC – Andrew has direct control over annual revenues in excess of $100 million. He has more than 25 years of construction experience including that of parks, athletics and recreational facilities, municipal buildings, transportation/aviation, heavy civil/utility infrastructure as well as green infrastructure development. Under Andrew’s direction, Astra became a leader in the industry and the company continues to expand its client base to include a large array of public and private organizations.
Andrew has a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed utility contractor in Georgia and a licensed general contractor in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
With over 30 years of experience, Grant oversees the daily operations of Astra Construction Services (ACS). He is involved with each project from award to execution to ensure the project’s successful completion. Grant’s experience includes Government, Detention, Healthcare, Retail, Defense, Industrial and Job Order Contracting projects of all sizes. His client-relationship skills and diverse industry knowledge allows him to effectively contribute to the continuous growth and success of the job order contracting business. Grant is a past General Contractor license holder in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Colorado and Utah. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
Prior to joining Astra in 2010, Allen spent 15 years in the construction industry serving as a project manager for a global construction company, where he specialized in recreation, judicial, higher education, industrial and hospitality projects. He brings strong organizational and communication skills to every project he oversees at Astra. Allen’s experience overseeing a wide range of projects gives him the skills to ensure that projects maintain the quality, cost control, safety, schedule and documentation control that clients expect from us. Throughout his career, Allen has successfully delivered more than 1 million square feet of projects totaling over $850 million. He received a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Real Estate Development at Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University.
Lee Travis is responsible for the Health, Safety and Environment Management for all Equix companies. He is a highly accomplished 20+ year HSE leader, known for building and strengthening safety cultures and creating best-in-class HSE management systems, programs and processes with multi-national infrastructure companies across North America. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles on a variety of industry committees and associations. Lee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University and is a registered safety professional.
Regina Pitts is a highly creative, results-driven marketing and proposal manager with a background in architecture, construction and engineering, and fintech. She joined Astra Group in 2017 as the Marketing & Proposal Manager after having served in similar roles at other organizations in the engineering and construction industries. Throughout her career, she has put together proposals collectively worth more than $1 billion. Since joining Astra, she has championed their marketing strategy of being project- and people-centric and using the company’s reputation to leverage and further develop the brand. Regina received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Mississippi and holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy University.
Angela is a professional with over 10 years of human resources management experience, working during that time in both the construction and manufacturing industries. She leads the Company’s initiatives relating to recruitment, compensation, engagement, employee benefits and payroll. Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Angela is an active member of SHRM and holds both the SHRM-CP and PHR certifications.
