Jerrod is responsible for Equix’s strategic development and growth. During his 30-year construction career, Jerrod has held senior leadership positions managing day-to-day operations, including an annual portfolio of over $1 billion and individual projects greater than $250 million.

Jerrod is responsible for Equix, Inc.’s strategic development and growth. He started his career as a line worker and proved to be a quick study who rose through the ranks.

 

During his 30 years in the construction industry, Jerrod has held senior leadership positions managing day-to-day operations, including an annual portfolio of over $1 billion and individual projects greater than $250 million. Jerrod is knowledgeable in communications, URD, renewables, heavy civil, and water and sewer. Jerrod advocates for open communication across all levels of operations and led crews around the world.

 

He actively contributes to the Power & Communication Contractors Association, serving on the board of directors and several committees.

Todd directs all financial, legal, human resources and risk management related matters for the company. Todd has more than 20 years of senior management experience leading legal, human resources, risk management, and real estate departments.

Todd has more than 20 years of senior management experience leading legal, human resources, risk management, and real estate departments for organizations in the construction, chemical, and retail industries ranging in size from $150 million privately-held businesses to $4.8 billion publicly-traded organizations. Todd is also a CPA and worked in public accounting prior to becoming an attorney.

Troy leads all aspects of our Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology organization, with a focus on integrity and talent development.

Troy leads all aspects of our Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology organization, with a focus on integrity and talent development.

 

Before joining Equix, Troy accumulated over 25 years of leadership experience, advancing to hold senior roles in finance and commercial operations within the food manufacturing sector. Troy managed large portfolios as a director of business finance and director of network optimization.

 

Troy is an active volunteer and serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Marian University.

Michael joined Equix in 2018 as President of Equix Infrastructure and Equix Integrity (formerly Diversified Infrastructure Services (DIS)). He is responsible for leading, managing and expanding civil, geotechnical and renewables services throughout the United States.

Mike Debelak, President of Equix Infrastructure & Equix Integrity

Michael joined Equix in 2018 as President of Equix Infrastructure and Equix Integrity (formerly Diversified Infrastructure Services). He is responsible for leading, managing and expanding civil, geotechnical and renewables services throughout the United States.

Michael has more than 25 years of operations experience in heavy civil, renewable and road building. His diverse construction experience includes management of projects with budgets of more than $275 million as well as partnerships and joint ventures.

Michael has served on road building and transportation boards and committees and is a leading advocate for shaping the economic environment surrounding infrastructure construction. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lee is responsible for the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) for all Equix companies. He is a highly accomplished 20+ year safety leader, known for building and strengthening safety cultures and creating best-in-class HSE management systems.

He is a highly accomplished 20+ year HSE leader, known for building and strengthening safety cultures and creating best-in-class HSE management systems, programs and processes with multi-national infrastructure companies across North America. 

 

Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles on a variety of industry committees and associations. Lee received a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University and is a registered safety professional.

Tim is responsible for Equix’s Information Technology  (IT) department, including the company’s technology infrastructure, approach to cybersecurity, and advances in the utilization of collaborative and project management tools.

Tim is responsible for Equix’s Information Technology  (IT) department, including the company's technology infrastructure, approach to cybersecurity, and advances in the utilization of collaborative and project management tools.

Before joining Equix, Tim was with Mi-Tech for over 13 years where he was responsible for the Energy Services division and later as the Vice President of Mi-Tech where he continued to concentrate on growth, operational efficiency, contract management and customer development primary with the power industry.

Tim was responsible for introducing technology into many different internal processes as well as operational processes at Mi-Tech including power distribution design, communications design, field asset data collection, mapping and GIS.

Angela is a professional with over 10 years of human resources management experience, working during that time in both the construction and manufacturing industries. She leads the Company’s initiatives relating to recruitment, compensation, engagement, employee benefits and payroll.

Nicholas is responsible for the strategic operations of energy and utility construction services. He has more than 19 years of experience, including managing the operations of projects throughout the country for natural gas distribution, utility & maxi-rig horizontal directional drilling, electric and telecommunications construction.

Nicholas is responsible for the strategic operations of energy and utility construction services. He has more than 19 years of construction experience, including managing operations of projects throughout the United States for natural gas distribution, utility & maxi-rig horizontal directional drilling, electric and telecommunications construction.

 

He leverages his diverse construction experience in the field to provide insights on safety, constructability and value engineering.

 

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Saint Norbert College.

Don White

Senior Vice President, Gas Operations

Don brings over 34 years of construction and pipeline experience to Equix. In 2018, he joined us as Vice President of Gas Operations and is responsible for managing the daily operations, projects, and employees for Equix Energy Services.

Don brings over 34 years of construction and pipeline experience to Equix. In 2018, he joined the company as Vice President of Gas Operations and is responsible for managing the daily operations, projects, and employees for Equix Energy Services, LLC.

 

Don started his pipeline career in 1987 as a laborer in Indiana. His work ethic and drive led to his growth from a laborer  to a Regional VP by 1998.  Six years later, Don co- founded R.A.W. Construction, LLC.

 

With his leadership and wealth of knowledge gained from first-hand experiences, R.A.W. grew exponentially and became one of the top underground utility contractors in the Southeast, and in 2018, R.A.W. became Equix Energy Services, LLC. Don is a licensed Utility Foreman, General Contractor and Utility Contractor across multiple southeastern states, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee.

Tim has over 35 years of experience in the utility and telecommunications space, having been involved in engineering and managing the strategic deployment of telecom broadband, voice, data, and video entertainment services.

Tim has over 35 years of experience in the utility and telecommunications space, having been involved in engineering and managing the strategic deployment of telecom broadband, voice, data, and video entertainment services. His vast experience also includes working as a GIS Project Leader and a Distribution Design Engineer in the power industry.

 

He has been a driving force within Mi-Tech during his eight-year tenure in creating efficiencies for work execution by pushing for advancements in technology utilizing GIS. In addition, Tim demonstrates fundamental leadership abilities, with a keen focus on employee development and mentoring to ensure the great culture of Mi-Tech continues and positions the company for the continued growth of employees and business. 

 

Tim earned a degree in Cable Television Technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Augsburg University.

Grant Beeson

Vice President, Astra Construction Services

With over 30 years of experience, Grant oversees the daily operations of Astra Construction Services. His resume includes experience leading and managing large construction projects in excess of $300 million.

With over 30 years of experience, Grant oversees the daily operations of Astra Construction Services. His resume includes solid experience with leading and managing large construction projects, as well as providing cost estimating on projects in excess of $300 million.

 

Grant’s experience includes government, detention, healthcare, retail, defense, industrial, and job order contracting projects of all sizes, where he is involved with each project from award to execution to ensure the project’s successful completion. His client-relationship skills and diverse industry knowledge allows him to effectively contribute to the continuous growth and success of the job order contracting business.

 

Grant is a past General Contractor license holder in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Colorado and Utah. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University.

Jay Mayo

Jay oversees the daily operations of Astra Grading and Pipe (AGAP), a self-performing construction company focused on transportation / Department of Transportation (DOT), roadways, bridges, aviation, and water and wastewater markets.

Jay oversees the daily operations of Astra Grading and Pipe (AGAP), a self-performing construction company focused on the transportation/DOT, roadways, bridges, aviation, and water and wastewater markets. 

 

He is involved with each project from the bid stage to execution to close out. Jay’s areas of expertise include heavy civil, DOT/highway, structures, water, sewer, aviation, asphalt paving and plant production, and crushed stone quarry production. With over 32 years of experience in the industry, Jay is able to leverage long-standing relationships and continually develop new ones to partner with clients, owners, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver successful projects that benefit all.

 

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.

Clay is responsible for providing leadership to the Regional and Divisional managers of Equix Energy Services throughout the country, including Texas and Florida.

Clay is responsible for providing leadership to the Regional and Divisional managers of Equix Energy Services throughout the country, including Texas and Florida. 

 

With over 20 years of experience, his expertise includes managing installation projects for natural gas, water, and electric infrastructure. He is an experienced driller, operator, and has trained on fusion of HDPE pipe up to 24”.

 

Clay is a well-rounded leader with broad capabilities and vast knowledge of underground utility work. He is licensed in most of the Southeastern states as one of the following: utility manager, gas contractor, underground piping, public works, and more.
